Comparison of Lms Linear and Cma Equalization in Communication System Ijccit

چکیده
In this paper, the adaptive equalization techniques are used to transmit data through a communication channel. Because the signal can not be demodulate perfectly at the output of a communication system. However, in practically, all the channels are non ideal and noisy in nature. So, to recover the original signal after demodulation, equalizers minimize the error between the original transmitted signal and demodulated signal. In this paper Least Mean Square (LMS) and Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA) Algorithms are used.

The dithered signed-error constant modulus algorithm
Adaptive blind equalization has gained widespread use in communication systems that operate without training signals. In particular, the Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA) has become a favorite of practitioners due to its LMS-like complexity and desirable robustness properties. The desire for further reduction in computational complexity has motivated signed-error versions of CMA, which have been...
متن کاملSpectrum Access System: Comparison of Different Equalizers
Intersymbol interference is an unwanted phenomenon that makes communication less reliable. However, an equalizer can reduce the bad influence of intersymbol interference. In general, my work is to compare different equalizers in various scenarios. In the first part of this paper, I explain the motivation of using equalization in detail, followed by introducing prerequisite knowledge of equaliza...
متن کاملBlind Channel Equalization
— Future services demand high data rate and quality. Thus, it is necessary to define new and robust algorithms to equalize channels and reduce noise in communications. Nowadays, new equalization algorithms are being developed to optimize the channel bandwidth and reduce noise, namely, Blind Channel Equalization. Conventional equalizations minimizing mean-square error generally require a trainin...

متن کاملBlind, Adaptive, Per Tone Equalization for Multicarrier Receivers
This paper proposes the application of traditional blind, adaptive algorithms to the per tone structure for equalization in multicarrier receivers. It is shown that the per tone structure lends itself more readily than the TEQ structure to the application of the Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA) and Decision-Directed LMS (DD-LMS). The result is that CMA and DD-LMS type algorithms can be derived ...
